Sleep Apnea Course:

Are you having trouble sleeping or do you or your spouse snore? This past December, Dr. DiSanto-Rose completed a 3 day course entitled “The Effects of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Its Relationship to Dentistry.” This course was presented by Dr. Dennis Bailey. Sleep apnea is associated with many health problems including obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiac problems, bedwetting with children and many more. If you have any of these problems, please discuss it with the doctor. A sleep test called a polysomnogram can diagnosis if you have sleep disturbed breathing (SDB) or obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). If you are diagnosed with SDB or OSA there are numerous oral appliances that can help support the airway, deliver a good night sleep, improve your general health, and may even save your life.
